The longer clip I saw is just special. The world would be a better place if they'd have just shot all of those idiots.

I couldn’t agree more. So much wrong with that video. First, it is a softball game for CHILDREN. Second, any man that stands next to a fight and kicks people while they are “engaged” is a GD pussy.

Yeah, the douchebag in the hat? Goes over like he's gonna be a peacemaker, drops in a quick kick to a guy's ribs, then casually reverts to "peacemaker" role.
I'd have shot him first.

Trash!
Spread the word and if that team is another tournament, ban the parents from attending!

Wait a minute dude. It is 12 year-old softball, after all. If you can’t take a stand on that, what will you stand up for????

Funny, no I meant ridiculous, but not unexpected. The Canton team is from our county and some of those folks are well known for going over the line in support of kids/High School sports.
My wife grew up there and “way back when” her mom refused to go to ball games due to the over the top antics of a certain percentage of fans. Looks like old habits are hard to break...kids do as parents teach them.

Good to see that we have a new crop of soon-to-be-procreators ready to carry on this rich tradition.

One way to teach these parents a lesson is to suspend the kids. Show them that if you act like animals, your kids won't play.

Honestly, the worst thing about kids sports is the parents. You wouldn't believe the stories I could tell about what's going on with my daughters 12U team if my wife hadn't sworn me to secrecy. All over playing time.
Cmon bro, you know you gots to give out some stories now. Dont leave us hangin. We don't need facebook pics and intsta accounts, just a couple of examples.

When I was a kid I saw Joey Walf's mom beat some younger women's ass at the major's field, WW James Park cause she was sleeping with her husband.

I was on the mound and heard shrieking cusswords, the whole game stopped as we looked over behind the fence between the bleachers and the dugout and saw her with the lady in a headlock pounding her with uppercuts. They were separated and his mom still had her by her bleach blonde hair. She finally let go and the hussy ran off toward her camaro, bleeding from her cheek and forehead. Twas glorious for an 11 yr old in Titusville, Fl.

As a general rule, Tennessee gets more country the farther east you go, and more urban the farther west.

My kid played travel baseball throughout all of his childhood. The team he played on every year was pretty much the 'elite' for the area. There was a kid who's father that did the following over several years-
1) choked his son after giving up a home run- after the inning ended the father was so upset that he literally screamed at, then choked his own son. I personally bear hugged the guy then slammed him on the ground. He left the premises by walking down the road and disappearing.after the police were called. The police allegedly went to their house that evening.
2) after his son completely ran over the catcher and was called safe in the last inning of a championship game, while the other team was going ape$hit at the umpire, the father ran out onto the field and got into the face of an opposing player and was cussing him out, putting his finger in the kids face, yelling and so on. That year the kids were around 14
3) constant berating of his son when he pitched. Yelling such things as ' you're not getting new shoes, you'll sleep outside, you're terrible and so on.
4) he snapped a small tree when he struck out
5) constant chatter to the umpire
6) He would throw a huge temper tantrum every time his kid either got out or made a mistake
The guy was removed from several tournaments over the years, banned from being within 100 yds of the team for most of a year 2x and given numerous warnings.
Yes, his kid was very good thus his behavior was basically allowed. It was a huge distraction and extremely embarrassing for the kids and parents. Quite a shame he wasn't banned all together.
Point being, this type of behavior is somewhat common. Both my kids played travel basketball as well and the parents there are crazy too.

*Totally forgot this one- at a tournament he got so angered he grabbed his wife's hair on top of her head and just hung on pulling it. After about 10 seconds she was able to slap him and he finally let go.
His behavior was extremely bizarre to say the least..

That's crazy.
I bet he beat his wife, too.

We speculated on that but there were never any visual signs. The kid was a straight A student, the father an engineer and the mother a school teacher. Outside of the ball field, the guy was very quiet. We always thought we'd hear about them on the news, as in, 'father kills wife and son, then himself'

Interesting times. I also remember one coach beating up the league president in the concession stand.

I'd imagine they were exhausted from the exertion of getting out of their lawn chairs.

I bet they quickly replenished any calories burned at the local Golden Corral.

And the same guy who committed voter fraud to get his son on the all star team and also by the way, is now serving life for murdering his wife.

That seems like a contradiction.

Maybe there is a market for 'bear spray' cans that have high THC. Calm these muthers down...

"Hey BLUE, what's wrong with your eyes!"
Pffffsssshhht
"i think I'll go get some M&Ms..."

So far I've enjoyed one season of my 4yo playing soccer. Everyone was cool.

Really can’t say. But if we’re right and the parents are lying to get playing time they’re the worst people I’ve met in person. If they’re not lying...they might still be the worst...

So you can’t give up the goods on an anonymous, niche, hard to find off topic sports message board populated by Brooke who mostly live thousands of miles away from you. Weak sauce.

At one point during a game, the coach called one of his 9-year-old baseball players aside
And asked, "Do you understand what cooperation is? What a team is?"
"Yes, coach", replied the little boy. "
Do you understand that what matters is whether we win or lose together as a team?"
The little boy nodded in the affirmative.
"So," the coach continued, "I'm sure you know, when an out is called, you shouldn't argue,
curse the umpire, or call him an asshole. Do you understand all that?"
Again, the little boy nodded in the affirmative.
The coach continued, "And when I take you out of the game so that another boy gets a chance to play,
it's not a dumb-ass decision or that the coach is a shithead is it?"
"No, coach."
"Good", said the coach. "Now go over there and explain all that to your grandmother.”
