Oh, he took it alright as he should have. He was very pleased to get the invite.
I'm sure he did. Anybody would. I wonder how much insider trader info he gave to tournament officials to get it?
A question that someone who got left out and might be more deserving would ask as well.
Burns is finally showing cracks in the veneer. Me picking him is obviously too onerous a burden for the young man
I really like that course (The Belfrey). #10 is a ton of fun watching the pros go for it off the tee. You all may recall the Ryder Cup was played there in 1993 I think it was.

Bland's opponent (whose name escapes me) just could not duplicate the par putt he made in regulation on 18 to keep sudden death going.

You can’t say Kiawah Island without thinking of a uber talented kid who lapped the field in 2012.
What did you think of that course?
I did not get to see a lot of the tournament, just a couple of hours each day. So I never really saw the whole course. But it seemed somewhat ho-hum to me. No holes stuck out in my mind as memorable.
I liked it , good water on at least 10 holes, longish and looked like a Weiskopf design, but also had the look of the typical planned community course
It is surprising to me that Hideki is playing so well. The last month had to be filled with days that did not give him time to practice.
