PGSF FedEx Cup Week 34 The Tour Championship

Ok not a fan. I have looked at the leader board a few times today and my first thought was he is killing it early.
I just looked and thought damn Kuchar is on fire, only to realize he is just
-1. This scoring is messing with my mind

And I thought it was just me, 'cuz when I saw DJ's score for the day (strokes not cumulative) I went ...

Some big scores first two days

everyone take a look as I had to change all the formulas, so a second eye is always welcome

Looking forward to a great finish

Thank you sir

NIA - I am glad you and cma can handle the numbers part.

Man, I was so tempted on Monday to pencil in JT and just couldn't...couldn't...I know I went with the wrong Justin, but sometimes, a man's got to know his limitations...if he holds serve, I'll tip my hat to Bobcat. But you know how difficult it is to pick him...o_O

Any idea how they'll finish it up (Round 3) if the weather doesn't cooperate? Double-dip tomorrow??

Looking at the scores, that melt down on eight not only cost Rose, but could prove costly to @Nolerball. Might need a few more birdies from Koepka

Well that was a good day of golf, and Rory proved he could close out a lead in a big tournament. Rory played well, wobbled a little and clinched it with that big par save at 16.

In the PGSF, it was a close race between a veteran and rookie who both had Rory and Xander. The difference came down to @Bobcat07 getting points from JT and not getting hurt by Rahm. @Nolerball had a shot but Rose plummeted today and cost him a -5 score , making Bobcat this weeks winner

Congratulations to this weeks winner @Bobcat07

The definitive, dumbfounded divining rod has finally calmed down. It couldn't understand why it was a strong 2nd place and suddenly finished 2nd from the bottom. I tried to explain how the FedEx Cup works, but its only response was for me to stop, as it had never taken calculus.

So, I've put the rod in the closet for a long hibernation over the winter, and we shall see what supports I can come up with next season.

As always, fellas, it's been a blast this year. And thanks to all who put it together week after week.

I second Ed's thoughts on the season. Thanks, guys, for welcoming me in to the tourney and the overall season. NIA - thanks for the work you put in each week to organize. Liz - thanks for the humor & quips. Ed - let the rod know he will be missed...Gonna wonder what to do each weekend until the Tour's fall season cranks (back) up...guess I'll have to watch CFB for now...:D

This is indeed a great time-passer to help one get from roughly the end of one football season to the beginning of the next.

Thanks once again NiA for all of the work you put into this. In my opinion you deserve a percentage raise. :D

Glad everyone enjoyed the season. The PGSF FedEx Cup makes the golf season just a little bit better.

Congratulations again to this years winners
@Bill From Tampa for his dominant regular season
and @Bobcat07 for his dominant playoff push and Tour Championship victory

Hope everyone comes back for year 12 of our competition.

As of now first tee at The Plantation Course
is in 127 DAYS.

Here is to FSU having a great year and us starting off the golf season with a bowl game in the mix that week ( I can dream, season hasn't started)

I always think I am forgetting something the Wednesday after the tour championship

NIA - just thought to ask...when do we start back up? Being a rookie, I wasn't sure if you put together anything when the fall season kicks off in a couple of weeks? Or if there was a President's Cup pool? Or - do you wait until January (I saw the countdown number to the Plantation Course) and start it at the Sentry TOC? Lots of golf in the fall, both domestic and in Asia, so I wasn't sure...maybe we just watch CFB until Bowl season and then gear up for life on the links.

Sounds good. Then I can treat the Fall season like Spring Training, sort of...assessing guys, following along, picking shadowy teams - searching for ways to develop an-alternate ego to Ed's rod or capturing some of Bill's magic. Or maybe it's all just a craps roll and I should watch anyway because its on. ;)

When does next years' competition begin?
