Dustin Johnson won the BMW Championship on Sunday to move to No. 1 in FedExCup points going to the Playoff Finale, the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola. He will be joined in the top five by Patrick Reed, Adam Scott, Jason Day and Paul Casey. A win at East Lake will guarantee any of those top five the FedExCup title.

Meanwhile, four players busted the bubble Sunday and moved inside the top 30 who'll advance to East Lake. Those four are Roberto Castro, Daniel Berger, J.B. Holmes and Charl Schwartzel. Consequently, four players who started the week inside the top 30 were knocked out: Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Brooks Koepka, along with Henrik Stenson (who did not play the BMW).

Here are the 30 players who will head to East Lake. First round is set for Sept. 22.

1, Dustin Johnson. 2, Patrick Reed. 3, Adam Scott. 4, Jason Day. 5. Paul Casey. 6, Rory McIlroy. 7, Jordan Spieth. 8, Russell Knox. 9, Emiliano Grillo. 10, Jimmy Walker.

11. Brandt Snedeker. 12, Justin Thomas. 13, Phil Mickelson. 14, Ryan Moore. 15, Kevin Chappell. 16, Matt Kuchar. 17, Hideki Matsuyama. 18, Si Woo Kim. 19, Kevin Kisner. 20, Gary Woodland.

21. Roberto Castro. 22, Kevin Na. 23, William McGirt. 24, Bubba Watson. 25, Sean O'Hair. 26, Daniel Berger. 27, Jason Dufner. 28, J.B. Holmes. 29, Jhonattan Vegas. 30, Charl Schwartzel.

We did get a Seminole into final 30, Berger worked his way into East Lake with a nice weekend

I love East Lake , if you have never made the trip, it should be on your golf bucket list
The walk around the course Thursday and Friday with the best players in the world on an old school course with so few spectators really is just a great day to watch golf

Here is final overall leader board for regular season
congrats to regular season champ

Casey
Johnson
McIlroy

Guess this doesn't mean much to Stenson...If he'd made it this far, I probably would have picked him.

Phil should use an iron off the tee.

Hasn't hit one fairway thru 15 holes. Some have been waaaaaay off line.

Tour business first....
as to the question concerning Day's withdrawal
Nice sentiment, but there will be no vote
Withdrawals are treated the same in last tourney as first

and to the golf

We are off and running at the tour championship
couple birdies early, hoping we see someone go low today

Has to be strange to play a round by yourself as a pro
( Kevin Na went off first as a single today, some Australian fella withdrew )

Well I tried. :D

Na is apparently trying to set a PGA record time to play 18 holes. Thank goodness the officials are not putting the group behind him on the clock for not keeping up with the pace of play.

Na finishes his round in 1:59:52. And even more interesting he birdied the last four holes running around the course in 92 degree heat.

Have to say I am shocked by DJ's round today, would not have predicted that with the way he was swinging the club..

but of course they just talked about how bad Chappell was playing before this tourney
