Hey everyone, I am really excited to bring yall this one. I thought it would be fun to debate who the next FSU College Football HOF inductee should be. There are clearly a few 'Noles who deserve to be in the College HOF. I am going to do this one as a poll so that you all can vote, and make your case below! I personally have Mickey Andrews as the most deserving in my opinion, but I have him #4 on the list overall.
As far as omissions from this list, we mentioned DT Corey Simon, DB Tay Cody, and OL Clay Shiver in the intro. Others who just missed the cut that I considered include: DL Reinard Wilson, LB Sam Cowart, OL Jamie Dukes, DB J.T. Thomas, RB Larry Key, DB Bobby Butler, DB Monk Bonasorte, P Rohn Stark, QB Danny McManus, OL Pat Tomberlin, RB Amp Lee, WR Lawrence Dawsey, DL Odell Haggins (player, coach), FB William Floyd, QB Casey Weldon, DL Jamal Reynolds, and OL Alex Barron.
There are HOF rules keeping plenty of recent 'Noles out, also. You have to be retired from football, pro or college. Here's the recent guys that will have a case in the future:
OL Rodney Hudson, QB Jameis Winston, WR Rashad Greene, DL Timmy Jernigan, DB Lamarcus Joyner, DB Jalen Ramsey, TE Nick O’Leary, DB Derwin James, DL Demarcus Walker, RB Dalvin Cook.
