6:30 p.m. -- We're here at BC's Alumni Stadium. Really nice evening ... not cool, but clear. Definitely better weather than some previous trips. Handful of players on the field warming up for each team. Lots of FSU fans outside tailgating. 'Noles should be well-represented.
6:35 p.m. -- FSU just announced that LB Tyrell Lyons is out for the year with a torn ACL. The injury happened Wednesday at practice. That obviously is terrible news, given the lack of depth at that position. So really looking at four main guys there now -- Smith, Northrup, Hoskins and Phillips.
7:00 p.m. -- QBs are at now with the centers. Martinez still with Golson, and Eberle with Maguire. ... Very fans inside the stadium. Lots of people still outside tailgating.
7:10 p.m. -- Looks like Derwin James will be back wearing 3 tonight. Think the only way he'd wear 31 is if he and Bobo are both on field for special teams.
7:15 p.m. -- Meant to say earlier. FSU wearing white tops and gold pants. BC wearng maroon tops and gold pants. ... Ron Cherry is your referee tonight.
7:25 p.m. -- Just a followup on the linebackers. Doesn't look like Purifoy is even on the travel roster. Not with the other LBs in pregame. ... Stadium still pretty empty except for the students, who are wearing gold shirts ... and the red bandanas, of course.
7:35 p.m. -- Looks like the OL is the same. Not seeing any obvious changes on the defense either in warmups.
7:40 p.m. -- One thing I noticed throughout pregame was that Wilson Bell was really trying to be a vocal leader ... both with the OL and with the entire team. Hadn't noticed him being that hyper in pregame before.
