Dwayne Wimbley Jr. committed to FSU last fall, signed and was released from his scholarship on March 18.
Wimbley Jr. is visiting UMass this weekend, he told me. This makes some sense as UMass coach Frank Martin is a Miami native who coached at multiple high schools from 1985-2000. I am sure Wimbley Sr. knows Martin, although the dad played HS ball at Aquinas and Martin did not coach there.
