Four-star offensive guard prospect Cortez Smith will likely no longer be officially visiting FSU.
Smith told The Osceola early in March that he would be officially visiting Florida State on June 14th but at least one source is indicating that he will no longer be taking this visit. Instead, it appears he will be officially visiting Georgia Tech on June 14th. While we cannot 100% confirm this at this time, Smith is set to announce his commitment on July 20th and Florida State is not among the finalists despite previously having an official visit set, which further suggests that this visit is no longer taking place.
It is very possible that with the prospects along the offensive line that Florida State is now is contention for, that Smith has moved down Florida State's board.
