Luke Loucks talked last month in Amelia Island about his desire to challenge his team with a difficult non-conference schedule.

After it was announced earlier this month that the FSU men's basketball team will host Georgia in this year's ACC/SEC Challenge, a report of another non-conference game against a high-major opponent emerged on Friday. CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein is reporting that FSU will face Texas A&M in a neutral-site game in Tampa on Nov. 29 in a matchup of first-year head coaches at their respective schools in Loucks at FSU and Bucky McMillan at TAMU.

FSU is 3-1 all-time vs. the Aggies, but the two schools have played just once since the 1977-78 season. They last faced off in the first round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament, a game that the 10th-seeded Seminoles won over the seventh-seeded Aggies 57-50.
