If uf and Miami are rivals 1A and 1B (whichever order you put them in), most would consider Clemson to be our rival #2
I submit to you that because Clemson and Louisville are both ACC Atlantic foes, both have huge upside potential football wise, large stadiums, huge excited fan base, etc. , they will soon be as big of a rival as Clemson.
I'll state the obvious as well.. Clemson was "kind of" a rival when we were kicking their asses year after year when we joined the ACC.
The became a real rival when they started to beat us regularly. Especially beating us 6 out of 9 times from 2003 to 2011.
We used to play Louisville ALL THE TIME when I was a student in the early 1980s. We would beat them regularly on the gridiron, lose regularly on the hoops court (both were Metro Conference members)
All time series record is 12 wins against the 1 Thursday night rain loss back in 2002, but they HATE US with a passion
All its gonna take for folks to realize this is for Louisville to take it to us when we arent paying attention -
This weekend is a TRUE TRAP game for us for this very reason!
