I actually have heard rumors about Spielberg and Lucas being pedophiles before usually associated with young girls (Drew Barrymore hinted at it as did one of the other little girl actors). But Corey Feldman has basically done everything but specifically name them as being involved. Corey was always careful not to say too many names as to who the many many adults were that raped him in Hollywood (although Charlie Sheen seems to be a done deal) but he was always defensive about Michael Jackson who he met through Spielberg and said that MJ actually defended him from other adult pedophiles in Hollywood.

We as a culture (western culture to be specific, and American culture to be more specific) only started to coddle and infant-ize people under the age of 18 in the last 50 or 60 years. My mother was married and had a daughter at 17, I spent this weekend with my friends parents, his mother married his father at 15. 49 years ago.

Hell, I was in the military at 17.

I mean, at what age did you lose your virginity? The average age in the US is 16. Does it matter that much if it's another 16 year old, or a 26 year old?

I am attracted to people who are near my age, not necessarily from the physical perspective but because I find them more agreeable and interesting to my particular tastes. So I'm not advocating being a chicken hawk, however, I can see that it's not that far out of the spectrum of humanity.
