Hearing Texas and OU are planning on leaving the Big 12 soon without paying any GOR penalty or exit fee.

A new bill is being put forward in the Iowa state legislature to make its public university athletes employees of the state. When that passes, Iowa State's athletes from the Big 12 will be paid. Texas and OU will then claim the Big 12 GOR and exit fee is immediately voided due to an "inequity in existing contracts that did not exist when created". A Change in Material Conditions clause will be invoked.

They will claim they are free to leave the Big 12 without owing them anything.

The power of ESPN and the SEC on full display using every trick and legal maneuver available to get what they want. And they are just getting started. The Alliance schools will be their next targets.

Hope FSU is paying attention. The ACC GOR is not going to last much longer either.
