We're entering into uncharted waters here. Vegas lines are out, but playing in empty stadiums, raises some interesting questions/discussion. I would think that the higher seeds or more appropriately, The teams with greater talent would have a far superior advantage. Underdog teams will not have the advantage of a crowd supporting them and riding that momentum. Defensive intensity may not be able to be sustained as much with the crowd not motivating them, but communication between players defensively could be much improved. Pure shooters will have an advantage without crowd distractions, and I would expect that the biggest jump statistically, would be in teams free throw percentage. Overall, I think that teams will have a more likely chance of surpassing the Vegas line for total points, due to better free throw shooting, easier offensive communications, and lack of the defense riding the momentum of the crowd.
