The game was stopped? Crazy. Getting there is the issue. If everybody is in house, why not just go for it?

That brings to mind FSU vs North Texas State in an early Bowden year. We won in a snow bowl that helped define the any where, any time mindset that was such a part of the Seminole mystique for decades.
Nowadays, events are cancelled ahead of a possible storm, just because the weather people suggest bad stuff could happen. I would use some terminology that is not OK today. You can likely project the thoughts...

The was one hell of a storm. Once it got down here and hit the gulf onshore wet air, it dumped tons of water last night and had 40-50 mph winds. I think I'm going to have one of these storm chasers check out my roof.
