The Official LR College Gameday Drinking Game Thread.

I have zero issue with any of the coaching tonight. A coach's job is to put their players in position to make plays to win the game. They did that. The players must execute. They did not do that.
The offensive play calling was atrocious (five step drops slow developing routes) and the ineffective defensive zones...

Exactly why FSU will be going nowhere for years ahead.

Shout-out to Brian Giese. First announcer to call it how it is instead of being pc I've heard.

My daughter goes to uf...I've consoled her by telling her at least they've been able to clean house relatively inexpensively and actually have hope for the future.

Aside from playing in a harder conference they are hands down in a better position than we are. They'll probably hire Mullen.

We'll pay a clown 5.5 million and not even be a top 5 coach in the state.

That hasn’t been true for years. When is the last time the worst team in a division managed to beat Bama? Yet Syracuse beat Clemson this year. And last year Pitt an 8-5 ACC team beat the national champ Clemson and the Big 12 champ. When’s the last time some 8-5 SEC managed to beat anyone decent? I certainly can’t remember that, maybe back in the early Aughts when the SEC West actually was decent.

I think the ACC is full of subpar teams that people want to bark up becuase they are bowl eligible. As if winning 6 games makes a program. Admittedly, we probably won't make a bowl. Week in and out its harder to win in the SEC imo. People were actually barking up big bad NC State.

He is only playing with ~25% of the playbook now. How much simpler can it get? B
He's using the wrong 25%. Blackman has made some bad decisions, but you don't put an 18 year old, 170 lb small forward in a 17 step drop behind a gawd awful OL. Should of used short drops, quick throws and misdirection - like Clemson. It is widely recognized (Ira, Cameron, Corey, competing sites) that Fisher feels this is below him. He also spends a ridiculous amount of time calling the PERFECT play and leaves the freshman Blackman only a few seconds to get it off. I'm sure Fisher's piss poor time/clock management doesn't add to the Blackman's poor decision making in the game.

Winning the SEC is harder? LOL. Have you seen how terrible Florida, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky and Vanderbilt are? That whole side is Georgia (who got smoked by a mediocre Auburn) and South Carolina who is decent but that’s the extent of it.

The SEC has been the easiest conference to win for the last 3-4 years and this year is very clearly the worst of the power 5 conferences because while the SEC does have Bama to partially cover up all of its terrible teams, the PAC-12 has far better depth with more decent teams than the SEC.

Right now the SEC has one national championship contender, four decent teams (Auburn, Miss State, Jawja and South Carolina) and eleven POS. That’s hardly a decent conference.

I'd rather play Syracuse, Boston College, Duke, Wake Forest and I can keep going before any of those teams. Especially on the road.

If you're calling Auburn 'mediocre' and UGA 'decent' than you should re evaluate what your calling other teams in so called better conferences.

Therapy for this season

This makes me think about when the announcers were talking about how Jimbo was talking to the players about finding their "why?". What a bunch of psycho babble. Why??? How about to WIN!! Instead of contemplating the value of the process, or worrying about how you look to the pros, just play the dang game to WIN. It's a game, that is the dang point of the thing. Play to win and the rest will take care of itself. If that isn't a player's or coache's "why" then that is the core of the problem.

I think Jimbo felt like his only hope was to attack clemmons only weakness, their secondary. So it was going to be big play or nothing in some cases. And we had guys running open, but were overthrown, dropped, etc.

As "bad" as this team is, it has come close against some good teams. We'll see how long it takes UM to get exposed...
