The Official LR College Gameday Drinking Game Thread!

I'd say on both sides. Their qb's picked our secondary apart. WR's can't catch. And yes the D is not what we thought. Da U is not a gimme win.

Neither is the Chattanooga game.

Going to change into an Ole Miss fan now!

Ramsey doesn't seem to be the shutdown corner we were led to beleive. I'd like to think that this was a trap game and the team just wasn't up for it, but jeez, you got to get up for this week before you can get up for next week.

It was Wake Forest and we squeaked by.

He is good but he has caught himself up in believing his own BS. He needs to focus playing each down, he was giving too much room, relying on his reputation rather than his skill. Tighten up and play hard EVERY play.
Lead by example, play hard and the rest of the defense will follow you.

This whole team needs to stop reading their own press clippings.

Look, our offense has not been great all year. Once we lost Cook and Vickers got banged up we were relying on the weakest part of our game - Golson. He played better today, but still not impressive.
D-line was getting zero push and it made the secondary look bad. When we put pressure on we were great, not sure why we stopped.
All this in crap conditions with starters out and some if the worst officiating I can recall. I will take the win.

I will take the win as well Belem and usually I don't complain. I just didn't like the play calling. Even if we didn't have that much of a run game, we burn time off the clock or make WF burn timeouts. It would have been better than the plays that were called.
Its good to get out of there with a win and hopefully without any major injuries which always seems to be the case when we play there. Hopefully we can tighten up for UM next week.

In the meantime UF is destroying Ole Miss..

So I guess the better question is instead of bama jumping us, does uf jump us? Will be tuning into the tc tomorrow for the cringe worthy meltdown.

I think it's highly likely that they jump us. They are destroying the #3 ranked team (overranked, but still #3). We struggled by frigging Wake .

Ole Piss drove me to watch Baseball. In my defense, the Astros might make the playoffs for the first time in 10 years. Waited a long time for this!

Georgia lost, Noter Dame is losing, and Ole Piss is losing. Hmmmm...we might actually move up a spot. Oops, forgot about Ucla. Maybe 2 spots.

I called the Ole Miss loss early today, as I've never been impressed by them. Their win at Bama was courtesy of 5 TOs, 3 within the Bama 25 and a fluke play. Bama is a much better team than Ole Miss and wins that game 95 out of 100 times.

I don't see how anyone can compare our resume to Florida's or Clemson's (assuming both win tonight) and rank us ahead of them.

I think maybe the pollsters learned a lesson moving a team from 15 to 3 after a win. Don't think they'll do it again moving a team from 25 into the top 10.

But they've also shown themselves to not be so bright so you never know.

Expect it. It's not a bad thing though. We need Clemson and Florida to be ranked higher than us when we play them. The only problem is beating them...

I'll agree with Clemson but uf? They could've very easily been 2-2 going into today's game. Should've lost last week if Butch Jones wasn't the worst coach in the Power 5 conferences.

As for other teams that I'd put ahead of us, include Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Alabama. We complain a lot about other teams being overrated based on reputation, but I think if we end up in the top 10 after this week, our reputation will be the only reason why.

BTW Eastern Kentuck is leading Kentucky with only 4 minutes to go. It's still on SEC2 if anyone wants to check it out. Unfortunately, Vandy ended up beating Middle Tennessee in the final possessions.

Blecch. Kentucky celebrating their overtime victory over Eastern Kentucky like it was Alabama.

Ohio state and Mich State barely beat unranked teams. Does TCU leap over either of them?

So Gameday will be at Utah as they host Cal next week. Lmao! The game no one will tune in to watch.

Everybody seems bored. The players, the coaches, the announcers, the crowd...
I'm tired of our crap schedules and playing in the crappy ACC. Watching an ACC game is like watching a televised high school game.
Hopefully UM and Clemson will get us motivated.

They better get motivated. Have to start steamrolling everybody just to impress the pollsters so we don't get jumped anymore!

Actually moved up a spot this week. Helps when four top 10 teams lose.
Four teams in front of us lose and we only move up one friggin spot! Jimbo, put your foot on the friggin gas pedal every game we have left dammit!!!
