The Official LR NFL Gameday Drinking Game Thread--WC Weekend Edition!

So you were calling the players pussies on what they might say? Wow.

And then in his postgame interview McCarron cried about the weather. Said it rained harder when they had the ball, that the ball was too wet and they didn't cover the balls with towels between plays. Wow indeed.

Everyone knows I'm a Saints fan but I'm pulling the Skins for my wife. Happy wife, happy life!

It's a scar from a boating accident when he was a kid. Not sure how he can make it grow hair.

Didn't know that. So I guess he did one on the other side as well to give it some symmetry. Odd I've never noticed it before with all the attendent hoopla when he was at Bama.

So Eddie is hitting the sauce right now haha! This is painful to watch
We hit the sauce before the game started and then some more during the game, but it didn't help unfortunately! That was so embarrassing and I'm not ashamed to admit I booed Hoyer yesterday. Brian Hoyer made me miss Matt Schaub yesterday.

You never want to put a football games in the hands, errrrrr on the foot, of a non football player. Been there, done that, too many times.

Wow, the Redskins just Florida State-ed! Had 1st and goal at the 1, had two bad runs and then a false start before failing on 3rd down from the 8. That'll come back to haunt them.

Rex Ryan has hired his brother Rob as the Associate Head Coach/Defense. Yeah, the guy who produced the 31st ranked defense at New Orleans. That would be funny if it wasn't sad.

Just imagine how bad the Saints D would've been without such great coaching. o_O

I thought it might be more.

Vontaze Burfict suspended three games by NFL

The Cincinnati Bengals will open next season without controversial linebacker Vontaze Burfict.

The NFL announced Monday that Burfict has been suspended without pay for the first three games of the 2016 regular season for repeated violations of safety-related playing rules.

The league deemed that Burfict should have avoided the hit that concussed Antonio Brown, ultimately giving the Steelers field position for the winning kick in their 18-16 wild-card playoff win over the Bengals on Saturday.

The suspension was imposed by Merton Hanks, NFL vice president of football operations, who ruled that Burfict's action placed his opponent at unnecessary risk of injury and should have been avoided.

The NFL also confirmed that the conduct of other players and coaches involved in the Steelers-Bengals kerfuffle is being reviewed for potential discipline.

Agent Audie Attar confirmed that Burfict will appeal the suspension, per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. He has up to three days to appeal.

A repeat offender, Burfict left the NFL with little recourse. He had previously been fined four times in 2015 alone for safety-related violations.

That includes close to $70,000 for three fines stemming from three different plays during the Bengals' 33-20 loss to the Steelers in mid-December.

His Week 8 tackle on Le'Veon Bell ended the star running back's season. If you're counting at home, Burfict was responsible for knocking Pittsburgh's three best players out of games this season.

SHOULD have been more-like maybe an entire season. He wants to intentionally try to hurt someone, put the gloves on and take up boxing or MMA. What a cheap shot douche.

Anyone else see the story about Pacman Jones saying that Brown was faking it...that he got up and winked at him as he was going off the field haha?
