You guys sure have a hard on for Tebow. Geez let it go and move on.

Think so? Check out any Gator board re: Jameis. It’s not even remotely close. You’ve got the good ole liar Graygator in his many forms just spreading constant lies. This week it’s that all of the FSU sororities were wearing “Rape Me Jameis” shirts after the news came out. And no, I’m not joking.

Get a life. You sit at your keyboards looking for this crap? Gators do it so will I? Be better than them,

Not really “looking for it”, it’s one of the greenlit articles on FARK. So it’s actually decently big news other than on BSPiN where they’re covering it up.

I could be wrong but I think a certain poster has had a proclivity for defending gator items.

Lol. Just a tad.

Leave my poor perpetual bachelor “holy” son alone!

The school probably didn't meet the minimum financial demands that his brother usually requests.

If never getting it means I have more important things in my life than hating someone for the school they went to? So be it.

How about you uhhh, not read this thread? Lol. With all of the important things going on in your life, how do you find the time to even be on a message board? Why not click on things that won’t cause you to have a breakdown?

I've been going over there recently to try to get info about their HC search...And it is certain that their butt hurt over Jameis remains very strong....

Back to the original premise of this thread before it was hijacked by the goater.

Yes, based on posts I've been seeing, it appears OP could be right. I've been hearing many things, a lot of people are saying it's true. I don't know for a fact, but many people are posting about it.

I am going to guess that is not the case with Tebow.

In the Huff Post article it had this.

Rubin told Chrystal-Green to reach out to ESPN public relations officials about Tebow’s availability. An ESPN spokeswoman told HuffPost, “The university reached out to us to gauge Tim’s involvement in recording a video with regards to the Richard Spencer event at UF and we declined on his behalf.”

Not sure what that means. It sounds like they made the decision for him.

At any rate, Tebow works for ESPN who has had a number of controversial non sports issues in the last year or so. Given their supposed policy regarding politics, my guess is they wanted to stay away from anything remotely political even if it an org that no one should want to endorse.

There may literally be no topic less political and more American than denouncing nazis.

I find it hard to believe espn vetoed him on this easy PR layup (at his own school no less) but continues to (rightly or wrongly) focus other social issues.

You would think. ESPN did not offer much in the way of details. The way the paragraph was worded did they even ask him?

Well 2016 was the literal turning point where punching Nazis switched from being a “no duh” all Americans do it into a political stance. Thanks Russia!

Just because Tebow is a white power hitter doesn’t mean he needs to comment on every issue relating to race.

This is weak. Tebow has always seemed like a stand up dude. I am a gator fan, I am not religious, I doubt I would vote for him if he ran for office type of thing (although I might, he does a lot of good things, so Id have to listen to more of his views). But I am tired of people thinking everyone owes them a reaction to everything. People are busy, they have lives, as we all do. Not doing a specific video, does not make you pro nazi.
