Timmeh Tebow loves Nazis

Wasn't there also evidence of that murderer having male lovers while in prison? NTTAWWT
Well...He was a gaaa-tor.

This is weak. Tebow has always seemed like a stand up dude. I am a gator fan, I am not religious, I doubt I would vote for him if he ran for office type of thing (although I might, he does a lot of good things, so Id have to listen to more of his views). But I am tired of people thinking everyone owes them a reaction to everything. People are busy, they have lives, as we all do. Not doing a specific video, does not make you pro nazi.
Timmay sits in front of a camera all day preparing to pronounce big words, just hoping and praying the little red light magically flicks on so he can gasp for air while trying to get out as many barely coherent regurgitated thoughts about the sec as possible before the little red light goes dim again.

This guy had plenty of time and there'a literally not a camera on earth he wouldn't gladly hop in front of if it meant he got an audience. That he refused to denounce nazis while also squawking about goater nation tells me everything I need to know about what side he woulda been on in ww2. #TimmaysANazi

Me thinks thou dost protest too much.

Only confirms tebow’s nazi views, IMO.

Yes, and of course it is perfectly logical to use a post on a message board from someone completely unrelated to the situation, to confirm your opinions on a completely different person. Makes perfect sense.

But I do have to ask. Are his views confirmed, or is it your opinion? Since those two ideas are diametrically opposed (if something is confirmed, it isn't an opinion), your second sentence doesnt make sense.

Timmeh failed the ridiculously easy are you a Nazi test.

Here’s how easy it is.

Question: Do you condemn Nazis like Richard Spencer?

Me and all non-Nazis: Yes.

Timmy Teabag and Nazis: (crickets)

See how easy that was? It’s literally the easiest layup out there when it comes to “politics” at least pre-2016.

That's one take.
Here's another, ESPN is losing eyeballs because its on air talent is viewed as 'going political' and, unlike certain posters, is trying to avoid doing so.

"Chrystal-Green attempted to acquire the assistance of Florida Heisman Trophy winner and current ESPN college football analyst Tim Tebow. However, her request was declined by the company."

"Last week, ESPN instituted a revised policy on its employees speaking about social issues. It's unclear if Tebow was made aware of the request from Chrystal-Green."

So they prevented a "personality" (using that term loosely) make a short video denouncing nazis and hate speech to be aired at his alma mater in hopes of keeping the peace?

Yea.

The silence from Timmay is deafening.

ESPN is losing viewers and catching flak for their on air talent 'going political'.
Is it that hard to believe they preferred not to involve their on air talent in another political controversy?

If I was Tebow I wouldn't risk pissing off an employer throwing me that much cash just to remind people water is wet.

Nazis aren’t a political controversy.

If anything, it speaks poorly of ESPN if they wouldn’t allow someone to condemn them.

Ergo...Tebow is a nazi sympathizer.

I have to hope that this is just Tebow was/is a gator so let's trash him. If not it is really easy to see how society jumps on a situation, destroys a person and then moves on to let the person try and figure out what the heck just happened.

timmy has a hard enough time figuring out how to tie his shoes. This would be well above his capabilities.

I’m not sure if everyone actually thinks Timmay is actually a supporter of Nazis or if you’re just trolling the turds at this point.

Day 5 and still not a peep from timmay.
Need I say more?

No more is NEEDED to be said...but I’ll point out that it is a published fact that Timmeh loved his opportunity to touch Filipino boys penii. So he fits in perfectly with a certain group’s post 2016 mission statement. A pedophile AND a Nazi? That guy has future presidential candidate written all over him.

His limited vocabulary and intellectual capacity would be quite captivating for many.

Would be the first prez to wear eyeblack during the state of the union.

In today's day and age, you don't get to be quiet on certain issues. Silence is complicity. It's not a huge list, but denouncing Nazi's is pretty much near the top of that list. It's not even a remotely political issue. And if you think it is, you're probably on the side of the Nazi's.

And it's really not that hard to not get implicated. Simply make one statement denouncing Nazi's that doesn't sound like "There's lot's of good people on both sides." Why Taylor Swift and now Tim Tebow's PR teams don't get this is beyond me. If someone asks you if you're ok with Nazi's, just say no, they're anti-American, and you denounce it (And then move on).

Even if you are a Nazi, just say it and you'll get away with it. lol

In that case I'm sickened by your complicity in the Rohingyan genocide.

Actually, the list of terrible people and events in the world is longer than you can apparently fathom.

You're ascribing them a political ideology, denouncing them for it, and then suggesting it's not 'remotely political'? If we set aside Spencer's politics, what is the problem with him speaking? The man is denounced for his politics, but that's not political?
Sounds like something a Nazi would say...

I think this is a dangerous attitude and almost McCarthy-esque. Yes, it would be nice for everyone to denounce Nazi's and the like, but that isn't even really what we are talking here. We are talking about a specific video, that it is not even clear he was aware of (since ESPN said it was declined on his behalf). So, you are essentially setting it up so if a celebrity doesn't do a video or make a statement every time they are asked, now people can say they support (insert whatever cause here) without that person ever showing support for that cause.

You're over complicating things here.

Timmay is a devout goater, loves his school and in their most distressing hour, with nazis set to descend upon their swampy campus, they call upon him to simply record a short video saying "goater nation, ignore the hate, stay positive, love your fellow man," and not a peep is heard from him in response. Not even a "wish I could, schedule is packed" tweet that would allow himself some plausible deniability while still obediently bowing in deference to his nazi MySpace friends.

This isn't a McCarthy-esque anything. This guy never passes up the chance to gasp monosyllabic words into a camera until his face turns blue. Yet here when asked, not by some random outlet or group but by his beloved alma matar in the throes of a potential campus on fire, his silence, and haircut, mysteriously confirm what many already knew.

For shame Timmay, for shame! You have laid your soul bare for all to see.

This thread is neither a trial of @kc78's fascination with Burmese genocides nor a discussion of applicability of the First Amendment in cases of public speakers at public universities.

Your whataboutism and deflections are transparent.

This is a focused discussion on Timmay and his love for nazis and/or his curious unwillingness to defend his alma matar from said nazis.

There was absolutely nothing complicated about what I said, much less overly complicated. You guys are setting the precedent that if someone doesn't speak out about an issue every time when asked, we can conclude that means they support (or don't support) that specific issue.

Anyway, if you honestly think Tebow is a Nazi/sympathizer, then more power to you. But this is one of those threads that is so "America in 2017" that will make it feel like I am losing brain cells I have a feeling, so have fun.

It's a shame your gator fandom clouds your vision to the point that you can't see it.

Yeah...it's ALL of us that are wrong.

I see the point, I just think it is a horrible point. And Fandom has nothing to do with this. If this was on FSU's campus and a former FSU player turned down a video, there is no way you would have an issue with it, and neither would I. Judging a guy because of where they played a sport and went to school is pretty dumb. And BTW, ALL of you aren't agreeing with each other either, read the actual thread.

Look, I get it and you make a fair point, if a FSU player turned down making a quick video requested by the school denouncing the nazis set to embark on our campus I might not openly call him a nazi but I certainly would start wondering to myself, "hey, is this guy a nazi?" The thing is, as it became more and more clear, I'd stop defending him. One of two things would be true, either he's a nazi or he's been feigning his love and loyalty for the school all along.

With Timmay, I think we can agree, he's not a good enough actor to feign anything, so there's only one conclusion left.

I can understand your discomfort addressing this, you seem like a decent dude (goater loyalty not withstanding) and this is not an easy subject to come to grips with.

Reading many posts in this thread helps me understand how seemingly intelligent people throw accusations around like racists, homophobe, Nazi etc. If the standard of not agreeing or have similar views than the previously mentioned then it is really easy to apply the same rules to almost anyone whether they are in public or private life. Kind of reminds me of the question "when did you stop beating your wife"

High profile representatives (Which Timmy is) have an obligation to use their fame which they've sought after responsibly. If Timmy can't bring himself to make a small statement saying that we need to see each other as equals and denouncing Richard Spencer's remarks, then that is on him. And I'd feel the same way if any FSU player were asked to speak out about Spencer. Choosing not to means that at worst, he agrees with them, at best he values their "fandom" and his "image" more than he cares about the lives of others hurt by people like Spencer. To me that's just as bad. I understand saying you don't want to endorse a political candidate, or push for specific political causes that truly are debatable in America. But the superiority of a race over another isn't one of those debatable things.

It's quite possible that ESPN didn't run this by Timmy which just means that ESPN needs to be burned at the stake over their handling of this. But it seems more like cover and it's certainly something that Tim can speak up about now. All it takes is a simple statement that he was unfortunately unaware of the invitation but that he certainly values all lives regardless of color and would have loved the chance to give back to his university and help them draw people together when someone came to divide them.

I simply don't see why that's so difficult for people to see.

Timmeh Teabag somehow found time and got BSPiNs permission to talk at political and religious rallies about: 1) abortion the biggest political topic out there, 2) speak and “write” at least two books about religion the only thing that may singularly top abortion although it should be pointed out that he never addresses his personal relationship with famous Gator Serial Killer Hernandez, 3) and push his charities where he is one of the beneficiaries. But he DOESN’T have time or permission to say “Nope, I hate Nazis”. LOL yeah right.

There’s at least three things Mr Teabag has been noticeably silent on: 1) His support or alleged lack thereof of Nazis, 2) How he failed to notice his bestie famous Gator Serial Killer Hernandez was busy attempting to and succeeding at murdering people and 3) *Let's not take this thread there

I can only imagine what sofa talk was like at the Timmie-Aaron house in gainesville.

Timmie: Hey, so does my hair look like sorta nazi but not too nazi if I comb it this way?
Aaron: Not now Timmie, I'm googling the two guys I shot outside of the club to see if they lived.
Timmie: Just call the police and ask them, they don't care.
Aaron: Good idea.
Timmie: Do you have any candles? Tony Joiner is coming over later.
