Once again it is time to share that if you are not yet a member of the Seminole Boosters Association and want a reason to join, be advised that the quarterly magazine, Unconquered summer 2017 is another excellent proof of the value you'll receive for the minimum annual contribution. I post something similar almost every quarter because every quarter's edition gives me detailed FSU information I don't get anywhere else. Just started reading this edition and already learned:
- Dwayne Bacon in basketball and Travis Rudolph in football led the Noles in community service hours against all ACC schools. FSU scholar-athletes performed over 6,200 hours of community service last year.
- Sean McGuire won the Doc Fauls Award.
- Ron Sellers has set up a substantial estate gift to FSU.
- 11 of our 19 teams have GPAs in excess of 3.0. (all the women's teams are above 3.0).
- 85 scholar athletes were on the Dean's list (3.5 or better). 22 were on the President's List for achieving a 4.0.
- 399 scholarship student athletes, with 54 being the first of their family to attend college.
- In the 25 years since FSU joined the ACC, FSU's Women's softball has won 15 Conference Championships.
