FSU practiced in full pads today, and we spoke with Jimbo afterward. Here are some notes.
Jimbo was asked about Michigan running an "old school" offense, and he didn't really like that characterization. He called it "real football" ... said it's the same thing you see on Sundays. Establishing the run, play-action passes, etc.
Also on Michigan, Jimbo emphasized their senior leadership and experience on both sides of the ball. Said you can't expect them to make mistakes. Have to earn everything you get.
When asked how the offense plans to "get going" against Michigan's run defense, Jimbo shot back, "Either get going or get your butt kicked. You've got to block them."
Jimbo also praised FSU's defensive line. Said they got much more physical as the year went on and played with more gap discipline.
Jimbo also said Deondre Francois is much more healthy after this break and it shows in practice.
Also, here are a couple updates from Dalvin Cook's chat with the media. We'll have more soon.
