Willie praises the team for getting better each week. Points out that the offense hasn’t turned the ball over in two straight weeks. Says this was the first time he could see the players really playing for each other.

Says the biggest improvement on defense has been the fact that the guys are more comfortable with the system now, especially the defensive linemen.

Says “it’s gonna take a whole lot” to keep James Blackman off the field with his injury. Says he is rehabbing and wants to get back ASAP.

On Jaiden Lars-Woodbey, says he is confident Jaiden will figure out a way to help the team even without playing.

Fan asks what the difference was in this fourth quarter ... he says everyone stayed positive and played for each other. No one was trying to get glory for themselves.

Fan asks about the WR play ... Willie says Dugans has really been working with them on their blocking. They weren’t blocking well earlier this season, but they’ve gotten much better in last couple weeks.

On Hornibrook, said he “looked like a vet” in the game. Which was what they expected. Said he does a great job of preparing each week.

Willie says it was fitting that Alex Hornibrook’s first pass at FSU was a TD strike to Keyshawn Helton. He said those two stay late after every practice to work on routes together.

Says it was good that they got to work on their four-minute offense late in the game.

NC State has a great punt returner, and Willie says he’s been happy with how much better they’ve been in the punting game this season. Getting good hang time from Tommy Martin and coverage group is doing well.

Fan asks if the kick returners choose whether to fair catch ... Willie says they sometimes decide before the kick and sometimes they let Keyshawn decide on the fly.

Asked about Jim Leavitt, he says the first big thing he brings is energy. Positive energy. Says he also has seen some things that have helped the defensive coaches.

That’s it from Willie. The player guests are Tamorrion Terry and Cyrus Fagan.

Tamorrion says the team expected Hornibrook would play well because of how hard he works and prepares.

Fagan talks about his big interception on Saturday. Says it was huge for the team to “finish” a game.

Mentions that one of his coaches in high school was Fab Four member Terry Anthony.

And that’s it for this week’s show.
