Florida State (17-14, 8-12 ACC) will face off with Syracuse (13-18, 7-13) in the ACC Tournament on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Charlotte, N.C. The game will be broadcast by the ACC Network.

FSU is the No. 11 seed, with Syracuse as the No. 14 seed.

The Seminoles defeated Syracuse 90-74 in Tallahassee on Jan. 4.

There's no real update yet on freshman point guard Daquan Davis, who did not play against SMU. FSU's halfcourt offense didn't look as good without him against the Mustangs with 11 assists and 14 turnovers (Jamir Watkins had five assists). But tough to argue with that result against a top ACC team and given the various distractions with Hamilton's last regular-season home game. And in the end, FSU shot 48.1 percent in the seven-point win.

Watkins was named to the All-ACC second team on Monday. In his last five games, Watkins is averaging 21.6 points and 6 rebounds.

Jerry Deng has been hot of late. He was 4 of 6 vs. UNC, 3 of 5 at Duke, 0 of 4 at Virginia and 3 of 7 vs. SMU. Deng is averaging 10.3 points over his last four games. In the regular season, Deng made 42 of 114 shots from beyond the arc (36.8 percent). Taylor Bol Bowen had roughly half the attempts, but was FSU's best 3-point shooter among the regular rotational players (26 of 69, 42 percent).

FSU finished the regular season as the ACC leader in blocked shots (149). That's an average of 4.8 blocks per game.

The Seminoles finish the regular season shooting 52.6 percent inside the arc (124th in DI). But they are just 274th in 3-point shooting (31.9 percent).
