Lexus
Amazon
Keen sandals
Indochino suits
Samsung phones (suck it apple)
Uber (not available in Vancouver which sucks)
Kamado Joe
Roku

CFA is the bomb. If haven’t downloaded their app, you’re missing out.

Amazon
Southwest
Netflix
Uber
Google

Are you a special agent with the Morality Enforcement Agency? Where do you draw the line?

Ha, nope, am not. The line.... thats a really good question. Perhaps not drawing it, but at least acknowledging that one exists is a step. So again, when people say a company is a "good company" what does that mean?

Amazon just raised the minimum salary for all employees to at least $15. I'd say thats a pretty good step towards being a "good company". Exroomie works for Amazon in S FL and he says its an amazing place to work. Walmart (no one listed) seems to still be at $11 min and require a fair amount of govt assistance to many employees.

Chic Fil a, I do disagree with some of the political positions they take, but they seem to have the best service and cleanest stores and food seems to always be good.

Just asking the question.

I don't particularly "like" Amazon but I use it a ton and have stock.

Others:
Publix - wish we had them up north
Del Taco - ditto
Dos Toros
Honda/Acura
Lyft (even though Uber has a better app and drivers show up faster)
Aidells chicken meatballs (esp the italian)
HP laptops - cheap & last a while. Current is 4 years old, works like I bought it yesterday.
Wayfair
NY Times
Netflix

I have no airline loyalty anymore, after years of Delta status. I've enjoyed JetBlue quite a bit lately. Good legroom, free & fast internet, direct flights from JFK.

So soggy and without seasoning, got it.

Actually as far as Culvers goes it's WAY better than Chick Fil A which I'd put at best in the middle third of fast food chain chicken places. I would have CFA behind at least Bojangles, Raising Cane, Spanky's (I'm being loose with fast food and chains when including them I know), Maryland Fried, Hattie B's, Guthries, Lindy's, Popeyes, Golden Chick and Churchs probably in that order although it would fluctuate depending on what I'm in the mood for as Guthries has the best sauce but Raising Canes better fingers and Maryland is my favorite chain whole chicken but Bojangles and Popeyes have much better sides.

Getting back to Culvers, there was only one chain place I've been to that has better ice custard/ice cream and I couldn't find the name of it. It's a smaller chain also from Wisconsin that has recently popped up and I do like it a little better than Culvers. But that's it.

Are you talking about Whit’s?

Hyperlite Mountain Gear. Great quality stuff made in ‘mericuh. Maine based company that has allowed me to drop multiple pounds off of the base weight I tote.
Vargo Outdoors. Another company producing quality gear made in the states, this time in Pennsylvania.
La Sportiva. The Mutant mountain running shoe is as comfortable as anything I have ever worn. I also wear the T4 approach shoes to keep my dogs happy and have an ultra lightweight rain coat that stays in my man purse.
Black Diamond. Based in Utah, I use their gear and clothing.
Another crowd I have been checking out lately is ZPacks, based in West Melbourne, FL. They manufacture and ship from there some pretty cutting edge gear.
Each of these companies are very environmentally conscious and places that folks want to work, much like Patagonia who was mentioned by RRR.

Honda. Their cars just keep on going and going and going...
Craftsman hand tools, tho I don’t remember where they are sold now.
State Employees Credit Union of N.C. They are the Chic Fil A of personal banking in the terrific customer service, very low interest loans, and basically no fee accounts. My checking account costs me $1 per month while paying interest on the balance. No fees at their ATMs and they don’t add any to transactions at ATMs owned by anybody else.
Echoing Gary, warchant, yo.

For smoky Scotch/Islays I go with Ardberg An Oa.

I believe Lowe’s picked them up.

Actually it was Stanley Black and Decker and apparently they will be selling them Lowes, Grainger, Meinards and a couple others. Heard tale of the warranty exchanges are getting difficult, but I will definitely get Craftsman if I have the option.

Re Culver’s, my comparison to CFA is the consistent cleanliness, friendliness, decent fast food/good value.
That would be In-n-Out. Besides tasty burgers, the place is always clean and full of friendly staff. Not sure how they make any money with the fresh food, reasonable prices and all the staff they have working as I know they pay more per hour than any other fast food joint.
Has to be purely on volume.

Read through the companies listed. Wonder what people consider "a good company" which was part of the OPs question. How do you weight socially good vs good products? There were a couple listed that made me raise an eyebrow.
I think the OP is referring to brand loyalty/customer experience as opposed to the corporation itself and how it operates, ethics, etc.

Good list Free Fly

Chick Fil A
Costco
Uber
Amazon
Net Flix
Dollar Shave Club

I hope Hunts Ketchup dies of Guinira and rots in hell.
You just haven't had it right. You have to catch a wild horse and ride it out to the grass flats to acquire some pen shells. Then sous vide them with a Hunt's marinade and sear them in duck fat. Then top them with a confit of buffalo marrow, and eat it in an air conditioned tent.

Do that and you'll be a believer.

P.S. I love you brother and I knew I would get you with that one.

“A guy told me one time, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner”

That's how I feel about businesses. I'm prepared to leave them at a moment's notice. I've never found one that was genuinely worthy of loyalty or fandom.

Toyota (all I’ve driven for the last 15 years and all I’ll drive in the future)

Southwest (I’ve got about a zillion points with them, plus a companion pass)

Abu Garcia (my go-to for fishing rods and reels...although I do use other brands)

Amazon (no brainer IMO)

Bass Pro Shops (nearly all the gear I could ever want)

Huk apparel (again with the fishing stuff...I love their SPF long sleeve shirts)

Big Green Egg (cult-like? Perhaps, but I love everything about them)

Dizzy Pig (make really excellent rubs, and super nice people to deal with too, willing to chat and give advice, bounce around ideas)

Target (mainly because I met my wife at T-844 in Tallahassee about 25 years ago).

Gotta be Netflix - I'd gladly pay twice what they charge me.
Autozone - these guys have treated me like gold. They sold me an alternator that was immediately bad and I needed another one right away. They sent a guy in a van to Lakeland immediately and then did gave me the new one and refunded my money to cover the labor costs for the new install of the replacement. I love those guys and I won't set foot in Advanced Auto.
Uber is great - I like the certainty of the fee amount.

Tire Kingdom location here in Tally next to Club Publix:

They've thrown in so many freebies (free oil change while doing brake job, patches for punctured tires, new battery cables, et al...) for me over the years, I've lost track. They never try to get me to get work done that I don't need.

that's kind of amazing. Most Tire Kingdoms are notoriously prone to upselling.

Talk to me about indochino....
Found out about them about 3 years ago. Custom to measure suits. High quality fabrics. Great prices. Usually with sales $369-399. You choose the options you want down to every detail. Takes 3-4 weeks from purchase to receive. If they mess up you take it to tailor to fix and if they cannot fix Indochino will remake it.

I have a referral code for $25 off you are interested.

https://share.indochino.com/o/eramcharran0

Hope that helps. Highly recommended! I get compliments on how great the suits look.

I second that rec, we've discussed them here I believe.

edit - as E said, you can really customize the details. Also pay extra for a matching vest and select the back fabric.
