When I think of Francois as a runner I like to think of him being able to pick up 10-15yds popping out of the pocket when protection breaks down or when the receivers are covered. I also like to think of him running draws and sliding or running out of bounds, this is what Russell Wilson does. All outcomes ending in a slide or out of bounds.
What I do not like to think of is Francois running the option, or running between the tackles, to me that adds up to bruises and worst case an actual injury.
On the TC here there seems to be sometimes these two camps. I do not want to see him run the option like ever, but I know Fisher will run it, but i hope he does not come to rely on him being an actual running back, we have enough of those. In fact, off the top of my head, i cannot even remember who Ponder handed off to so we needed ponder to be more of a running back.
