Came across this "article" which is shorter and less informative than a random Facebook post.

But it got me thinking about what is the best whiskey and/or other liquor to add to coffee?

I usually add Powers Irish Whiskey or "plain" Crown Royal to coffee if I want an extra kick. But I've used Tuaca, Licor 43, Nocello, Barenjager, Das Komet (back when you could buy it), Sabra, Amaretto di Saschira, Frangelica, Rumchatta, Praline Liqueur and Navan all to quite good effect. Since we finally got a cold snap I'm probably going to try out some coffee and liquor combos today and tomorrow.

Any other suggestions of combos?

Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream

Sounds good. I'm not too big of a fan of Bailey's but I absolutely love the 40 Creek Canadian whiskey with fresh local cream you can only buy straight from the distillery just outside of Toronto. No preservatives and it's not overly sweet.

I had a Mexican coffee drink once with tequila and Kahlua and it wasn't too bad.

Rumchata?

It's basically an alcoholic version of horchata so creamy, smooth, vanillay and cinnamony. It uses regular cream (and chemicals of course) in place of the milk and rice. It's pretty good on its own, better as a supplement to other things.

Yeah I know what it is, was just adding it as an option. Didnt originally see it in your op. Carry on.

Enjoying an Irish coffee and beignets right now before heading home. Makes for a more enjoyable unplanned layover in NOLA after defense counsel decided to use all his allotted 8 hours on an expert that was going to express 2 opinions.
