Who is planning to go to the ND game?

How many did we give them when they played at Doak? Turnabout is fair play.
It doesn’t matter.

I was there the first time ND played in Doak. More than a third of the stadium was Irish. Even some of my season ticket holding seat neighbors showed up in ND hear.

Folks- don't sweat tickets just yet. ND just put several thousand on their site last week. A friend of mine grabbed 20! He's a huge ND fan/alum. Their appetite for this game isn't nearly as strong as ours is right now. If we are both ranked fairly high come November, it will be a very tough ticket. If either or both teams have 3 or more losses, tickets will be everywhere. Mid November in SB and night is not going to be pleasant. It will have to be a very strong matchup to fill that stadium at 7pm.....

FYI- I'm from Chicago and know lots of Domers. I will have extra tickets. Stay tuned

Wow I find that very surprising. I just figured nd was a sell out every game.

Wife and I are flying out from AZ. We will wait a few months to see what the secondary market holds. We did sign up for Irish Express to take us from a bar in downtown Chicago where we are staying and take us to SB and back. They have a bartender on the bus (incl wifi), and tailgate. Seems like a great setup.

We tried to get the Booster bus/train to the game but it looked like it was sold out.

We found the Irish Express! https://www.irishexpress.com/
This bus company makes the trip regularly during football season from Chicago to South Bend. A ticket includes: brunch at Old Town Social, bus ride to-and-from the stadium, beverages and snacks anytime on the bus, and a huge TAILGATE, along with drop off not too far from the stadium! Yelp reviews are consistent and lots of pictures. (Booze is included in all of this!)

Tickets are $184.20 each, but reread the preceding paragraph for a refresher on what is included! It is an amazing deal!
We have purchased our tickets for the Noon bus departure and created the Group Name: FSUTailg8r

This doesn't get you any discount, but gets you a seat on the same bus with a FSU group.

Cut and paste to buy tickets.https://www.irishexpress.com/nd-fighting-irish-vs-the-fsu-seminoles/ Scroll down to find the NOON bus departure. Be sure to put FSUTailg8r when asked if part of a group.

I'll be on the morning bus.

Nope. They are as "fair weather" as they come. If they are 1-2 loss team, yes- it will be a tough ticket. If we are ranked higher and they have 3-4 losses, not so much.
Also- the weather could be 75 degrees or 25 degrees.
All factors that will play into pricing as we approach mid October

Just spoke to an ND alum. He is die hard. He is not very confident in his team this year. Feels they will have 3-4 losses by the time we play them. He also has a block of 20 tickets that he just bought 3 weeks ago. He doesn't think ND has sold out the game yet. Be patient folks

I see ND going anywhere from 11-1 to 7-5. They could very easily be 7-2 or 8-1 heading into our matchup.

FYI - Tickets for the home opener against Michigan are starting in the $400+ range.

Michigan - Tossup
Ball State - W
Vandy - W
Wake - W
Stanford - Tossup
V Tech - Tossup
Pitt - W
Navy - W
Northwestern - W
FSU - L
Cuse - W
USC - Tossup

Looking at this schedule, they should be 7-2 going into our game. However, they probably will drop one to Wake or Vandy when they shouldn't.

I have a dilemma. Tickets to the game secured. Now, do I fly into Chicago and stay with my cousin or fly to Ohio and stay with my parents. I kind of want to party with friends in Chicago, but I feel like I have to see the parents, brothers, nieces/nephews in Ohio.

I'm going to Chicago Thu-Sun, and maybe Monday since it is a holiday. I will skip the trip to South Bend and watch the game in Chicago.

I bought my tickets on Stubhub and two days later they opened up single game ticket sales in a sections for way less than I paid. Oh well - it was one of those quick decisions because I thought this game was going to sell out and there was slim pickings n Stubhub so I got the cheapest ones I could find. The extra fees killed me but I actually got the three tickets in hand the other day in the mail.

So upset. Had all the logistics set up for getting to this game, then realize I'm coaching a middle school baseball tournament that weekend. One of the VERY few instances that would trump a live FSU event.

Just bought tickets on stub hub for $150 each, including the fees. It would likely be lower if I waited but...I am in!

We are flying to Ohio and coming in Saturday for the game. Will leave Sunday to go back and stay with family. I am very excited!

Where in Ohio? I'm going to be at my son's place in Toledo before the game.

I had a business trip come up and have 3 tickets at $170 face each and 3 party bus tickets I want to get rid of. Sent you a PM. Would love to sell them all together.

Edit, I should have read the whole post, but anyways, they are available if anyone else wants to go.

Where are you parking? That's the one thing we haven't figured out yet.
I'll be meeting my parents in Lot IP. I'm actually flying into Chicago, staying with my cousin a few nights and taking the bus over. I'll go to Ohio with my parents after the game. They live in Defiance, so I couldn't be two hours from them and not see them.

My son is an Area Manager for Mattress Firm. He has a store in Defiance.
I'm assuming there will be pay to park lots around the stadium like everywhere else I've gone to watch a game.

I would assume so. This will be my first game in South Bend. I happened to get tickets that included the pass.

Where is everyone planning on parking for this? Looks like we will be renting a van and driving from Chicago rather than taking the booster bus.
