There is 1 thing we know for sure, our Defense in 2020 was HORRIBLE! Not drinking the Kool Aid,just trying to think pragmatically,why we could and should see vast improvement this season.
1. We were able to have a spring practice.
2. We had a complete summer S&C program
3. We added some talent at key positions through the Portal.
4. We cleaned house of some toxic personalities and sadly some under achievers.
5. Seemingly we have developed an account ability and team 1st mentality.
6. With only a few exceptions, we have a more physical and healthy defensive roster.
7. The last is the hope that our deficiencies in execution were more based on lack of understanding, lack of experience and poor execution, than a poor concept.
I think and hope this season will be a major turnaround on this side of the ball.
