Yesterday Baylor football player Sam Ukwuachu was convicted of sexually assaulting an 18 y.o. Baylor women's soccer player.

He had been accepted to Baylor despite being thrown out of Boise State for attacking his girlfriend.

I wondered why I had not heard or read anything about this case.
It turns out that Baylor never even acknowledged that they were conducting an internal investigation and a criminal investigation was ongoing.
He didn't practice in the spring but Art Briles and the school wouldn't reveal the reason. Only that they anticipated his return.

And they anticipated his return because he was cleared by the school after an inquiry so poorly done it was ruled inadmissible in the criminal proceeding.

So this creep gets convicted in a court of law after being cleared by Baylor, who had accepted him despite his history of violence against women.

Soooo, other media are now reporting this story, a story far worse than the Jameis Winston allegations, which were allegations only. Will ESPN now give this story non-stop coverage? Will they rake Briles and the Baylor AD over the coals? Will the school be accused of failing to control its athletes? Will they accuse Waco of permitting a culture of violence against women?

Stay tuned . . .
