Taggart begins by sending condolences to people affected by hurricane last week. Proud of some of the players for volunteering to pack supplies on trucks over the weekend.
Excited about the second half of the season. Said it was a good bye week. Looking forward to attacking second half of season.
On Janarius Robinson being from Panama City ... family lost their home. "You can only imagine how he's feeling." He's with his family. Told him they'll do whatever they can do help family.
Says practice schedule wasn't affected too much by hurricane.
On Francois' health, he practiced Saturday and Sunday. "Deondre's good."
Derrick Kelly is doing well. Dickerson still not able to play.
Said the bye week was mostly "working on ourselves." Making sure they know what they're doing.
Positives he's seen in first half ... stretching the field. Sticking with tempo is important. Stay with the running game.
Not sure if Dickerson will be back this weekend. No timetable.
On the off week ... says "majority" of players went home during storm. Others were taken care of and kept safe here.
More on Janarius Robinson ... said he's going to stay with his family as long as he needs. But they do think he'll play this week.
On the running game -- Saw improvement vs. UM. Backs ran hard. Seemed like they understand the blocking schemes better.
On getting away from tempo earlier ... said they did it because of the penalties and young WRs. Getting back to it now because thinks the positives outweight the negatives.
On recruiting during the bye week ... said recruits have been very receptive. Said they've been communicating with them all along. Said they know why the team is struggling in certain areas and how they can help.
On the ACC feedback from the double-pass play, he said all the ACC has told them is that the play was inconclusive during the game when they looked at it.
