Winston possibly in the local news again

JW doesn't need to be in that dump anyway. There's far better places for him to go in town anyway. Obviously the owner doesn't have good business sense so they will go under before long. They can thank TMZ for killing them, but ESPN will blame JW and FSU for shutting down a bar that doesn't allow rapist crab leg thieves to frequent. In other news he farted in the car and left it for the valet then didn't wash his hands at Dillard's.

I w

I went to Berns in Tampa wearing shorts and a tee shirt. I asked the guy at the door if it mattered and he said all that matters is the plastic in your wallet.

Businesses are in business to generate sales, and repeat customers. I bet the patrons of the Blue Martini would have been thrilled dining with Jameis, and not concerned about him wearing shorts. LOL

The ball's in your court Buccaneers. This is their opportunity to send a real strong message and suspend him for 10 games.

Your thread title is a little misleading and led to some interesting thoughts LOL. Maybe change to being turned away for failing to meet the dress code.

We should stage a shortscot. Thousands of FSU/Bucs fans line up to get in wearing shorts. Each and every one arguing when not let in.

It's freaking June in Florida, shorts are the norm (sorry, UCLA).

This reminds me of a bar in Arlington, VA that promoted itself as a sports bar. My friend got denied entrance for wearing an Orioles hat to watch an Orioles game at the so-called sports bar for their no hats policy. Hair gelled douches with popped up collars were welcomed, but real sports fans, not so much.

I've eaten there, the location is like an outdoor mall type setting, so there are multiple stores/restuarants, and it's open in the day time, so if you were just shopping in shorts and then you decided to get something to eat, you would get turned away. It's one of those places that you have to plan on going to, but it's certainly not a Capital Grille.
This confuses me. Are you saying its not as nice as Capital Grill, or not as casual? Capitol grill doesn't strike me as being that fancy.

I'm not going to lie. When I saw the thread title I said "Oh dear God no!! It's over before it started!!" Lol. Whew!!

then they have done achieved their goal: Deception and misinformation. Seriously, does anyone ever come across TMZ flipping through channels. Not an advocate of violence, but don't you just wish someone would burst onto set and give a few of them repeated punches in the nose.

Silly.

Rule #1 if you're a restaurant manager or owner - if a celebrity wants in, let him in, let him take pictures, make the best drink in the house for him. Oh yeah, I used to own a restaurant.... guess I didn't get enough celebs in Athens, GA.
Normally I would agree, but in this particular case they have gotten so much free pub for turning him away that they are probably pretty happy that they did.

Thread title makes me giggle every time I see it. Phrasing.
