Have you ever been hired into an executive role to be told, "Keep Joe, he's been great for the company.", "Keep Jane, she really brings it on Potluck days."?

WR and DL particularly stand out as areas that are under-performing. These are also two positions where Norvell didn't bring in "his guys".

So I'm wondering if there is any credence to, whether it is justified or not, a new culture vs. the old culture issue, and that old culture going back to perhaps when the DL coach and WR coach played....

Or a sense that the WR and DL coach were protected during the hiring of coaches.

And this disconnect is subtle, but not subtle enough that the players notice?
