And thanks again to NIA for all the time and effort he's spent on this, year after year. I'm sure I speak for the rest of us when I say you're the best.

Oh, and I sent PMs to all the other contestants about putting you a small salary for all your trouble. The result was a unanimous NO!

Sorry, I tried.

Golf PGSF FedEx Cup Week 35 The TOUR Championship

This brings another PGSF FedEx Season to a close. Thank you to everyone who participated again this year. It was another fun year that made the golf season more interesting.

Congratulations again to our regular season Champion, Mrs BFT; please pass along our congrats @Bill From Tampa

Our Champion started the year strong, then mid-season dipped a little but stayed near the top until the point reset, then closed out the victory with an all-time high score.

Congratulations to the 2024 PGSF FedEx Cup Champion

I love East Lake and the Tour Championship, but we must change the format. Continuing regular season points with a larger point distribution would be more interesting than the current stroke format.

That said, congratulations to Scheffler, who had a dominant performance that ended a huge year. I would imagine the TC secured the POY trophy.

In the PGSF, it was a huge moving day, thanks to Mr. Russell Henley. Henley went out early and carded 9 under to bring his score to -17 (non-starting points) and secure the win for two players.

Congratulations to the Tour Championship tournament champions, @NoleLizards and @fsu67810, who tied for first with a stellar 59 under.

Soccer FSU defeats Villanova 2-0

FSU sports information:

The No. 1 Florida State soccer team (4-0-1) claimed its fourth shutout of the season in a 2-0 victory over Villanova (3-2-0) on Sunday afternoon. Taylor Huff scored her fifth goal of the season to cap off the four-game homestand.

The Seminoles established steady control early on, firing 13 shots to Villanova’s one in the first half alone. FSU capitalized on the start as Huff’s cross from the corner spot swung in and spilled to Sophia Nguyen who had her shots blocked before Mimi Van Zanten placed her effort into the roof of the net for the opening goal. Van Zanten has scored three goals this season.

Florida State continued their momentum into the second half and built together a wonderful team goal that saw Ran Iwai connect with Huff at the front post to secure the second and final goal of the afternoon. Huff has recorded 14 points inside the first five games of the season, half of her total points scored from last season.

FSU continues its 28-game unbeaten streak and has fired 21 goals inside the first five games, the most since 2009 (24).

Florida State will travel to Gainesville for a rivalry match with Florida next Sunday. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. (SEC Network).
