Braves 2021

A 34 pitch first inning …. Very fortunate to be down only 2-0.

Morton can be so frustrating… one inning he looks unhittable … another he looks, well, like this. He should be a dominating pitcher.

One other series note …. LA is 8-8 in stolen bases …. D’Arnaud has yet to throw one out. Look for LA to steal a lot more bases in the games to come.

I have the same feeling as I did when Riley made his base running blunder, series over.
Does not look good with a bullpen game tomorrow. Had the foot on their throat and a chance to go up 3-0, let them off the hook.

Bright side is they have a bullpen game scheduled for game 5, get to Urias tomorrow and their bullpen will be burnt out.

Why does this have that feel to it from last year when we had a 3-1 lead and lost it all. That feeling hit me when Luke gave up the hit to the catcher right off the bat. I thought fixing to blow it cuz Snit will leave him up there too long and that’s exactly what happened. I’m very, very vexed as @jgking83 is. Thanks for the heartache Luke. We feel it with you.

Deep doo doo and LA belong together.
Yes, right you are...

And they called it paradise
I don't know why
Somebody laid the mountains low
While the town got high...

Oh and did you catch the shot of LA fans leaving early...? Very typical of the fan-base (or any sport out there). The epitome of this was the scene from Game 1 of the 1988 series (LA vs. The A's), as Kirk Gibson was at bat and cars are pulling out of the parking lot beyond the right field wall, Gibby smacks it, it travels far (and is gone) and right then a car stops, you can see the brake lights flash on and stay on...poor schmuck has to be kickin' himself on that one...but that is your typical Angelino. And before any current Noles who reside in southern California give me any grief, I grew up in L.A. Saw it many years, as a kid and adult, at events from MLB to NBA and NHL, to USC and ucla games. Heck, people even left the track early at Santa Anita. Always gotta be somewhere else, especially when the 'home team' looks like they're gonna lose. SMH to this day about it...

Same. LA was toast down three runs, Jackson was predictable with his pitches, you gotta know how dangerous Bellinger is, don’t give him anything belt high or inside, he feasts on those. Pitch him away, at worse he gets a base hit.
Yep! I made the comment yesterday after his first couple of pitches that his fastball was flat with no movement (it looked like a fat meatball being served up) and that the Dodgers were going to hit him and get back in this game. :(

And I'm also getting tired of d'Arnaud not hitting. We need him at the plate, not just behind it with all the sliders bouncing in the dirt.

Not sure Swanson at the top of the order is a good move ….

Three Braves’ home runs … not a bad start to the night.

Man I’m going to pass out from holding my breath. I knew Bellinger stealing that base was a bad omen and it paid off. Ugh!

Did Martin even try to hold him on first? LA is 9-9 in stolen bases.
