They were discussing this on Sirius ESPNU this morning (Rick Neuheisel)
He was saying the ACC and SEC are the only 2 P5 conferences to put teams into the playoffs all 4 years, and we are the only 2 with an 8 game conference schedule
I seem to remember an article on Warchant explaining how a 9 game ACC conference schedule would not be beneficial for FSU, specifically with regard to our OOC game with UF (ditto Clemson, GaTech and Louisville), and needing 7 home games a year
Seems like if we went to a 9th game, in theory, it shouldnt hurt us correct?
We would have 5 home ACC conference games in odd-numbered years, and 4 home ACC conference games plus UF in even-numbered years.
Wouldnt that allow us to have 2 more home games each year we could schedule G5 or 1AA , which we kind of have anyways right?
