This is what pisses me off- Dayton, which went 2-2 vs major conference teams, got the AP Player of the Year AND the AP Coach of the Year. I have no problem with Toppin getting POY, but a COY should have to earn it without the country's best player. FSU will not have a single kid on the All America 1st team, 2nd team, or 3rd team, and possibly not even an honorable mention. And yet all Ham did was lead FSU to the 2nd most wins in the P6 and a final four ranking. That's what a COY does.
I hope the Naismith COY voting shows him a little more love, but I'm not expecting it.
