I pretty much agree. It's a tough job being a cop in that situation. I don't doubt the basic description of the events layed out by Weagle. I'm sure that during the course of events, a lot of kids had been acting like asses and being very frustrating to security and LE. But if I'm chief I'm training my cops that they are NOT to be out yelling and cursing at my citizens, especially not 15 year olds. The other cops seemed to be able to handle the situation, just not him. I don't really trust any anti-police witness accounts any more without corroboration. Seeing the media coverage of Ferguson, the TV interviews, and the interviews in the Justice Dept. report on the event just confirmed for me that there are so many people with hatred and bias towards cops that you can't trust anything of what people say in today's atmosphere, esp if there are cross racial overtones. Pretty much every witness in that case that supported the 'hands up, don't shoot' narrative was determined by Obama's Justice Dept. to be either lying, misled, confused, or suffering false, contradictory memories. I don't know how this situation escalated before the kid was filming but I know you have a whole lot of kids nowadays who don't have the mindset of showing any respect to LE, but are just going to be automatically adversarial.
