Coronavirus trends, please no politics.

Dr Nole, I think like you... Everyone should be allowed a 2 week mulligan when this thing started. After that, we needed to tighten up and many of our leaders failed in many aspects of this.

Seems like we can start to act a bit more normally now.
I am. Just got back from the dentist and Home Depot. My mask never came out of my pocket. If is was crowded, then it might have.

There looks to be a rather large funeral for George Floyd...Which is appropriate.

I've been told that funerals aren't allowed, and gatherings at church shouldn't be happening. How is this one allowed?

Sadly we all know the virus was looked at in more than just a "medical" way...this effected the way it was handled etc.

This aged like milk and it's only one hour old. Go have a look at the recent trends. We are trending up and hit our highest number of confirmed cases so far yesterday.

Definitely due to an increase in testing. Hospital admissions are down.

The number of cases detected is directly related to the number of tests administered. This is axiomatic. Many of these tests are administered to asymptomatic people. This is a way to generate a higher number of false positives.
However, I would like to think and hope that most of the tests are true positives and also hope those positive individuals are now immune.
There is a contagion, it will cause sickness (and it sucks), some will die- herd immunity is the best method for not having to care about this virus or the next one.
