Daniel was the real villain in the Karate Kid

Good breakdown in the video and it doesn't even cover that Daniel won by a kick to the face when earlier in the movie they explicitly said kicks to the head were forbidden in the rules of the tournament.

I've felt this way for a long time. Johnny showed a lot of class a character throughout the movie. The other movie that really gets me is Wedding Crashers. Owen Wilson shameless pursues an engaged woman with all kinds of lies and deceit and the audience is supposed to support him. His character is a horrible person.
