Drones - UFOs - Jersey Shore

Apparently, other than restricted airspace, there are no rules about where these things fly. That’s the way many people like it. Funny, now that there’s a problem, small government, small FBI advocates want the government to step in.

I think 400' and within sight are restrictions.
 
I've never seen planes flying that low with red and green lights although I'm not a star gazer.
Your either color blind or just blind. They are on once you power up the airplane. Also a red rotating beacon on the top and the bottom. Airliners and most other planes also turn on their landing lights below 10,000' at night. The idea is to be seen.

I don't look at the sky much at night. I'm usually inside.

Why is there such a national fuss if these are common sights?
