I went over there and it looks like Fisher hasn't really gotten off to a fast start with his recruiting at A&M. Some of that is having a late start but he certainly hasn't done what Taggart has done this quickly for us here at FSU. Basically since Fisher took the A&M job in early December Fisher has had two Verbal Committments from:
Mohamed Diallo DT 6'4 315 lbs. Yuma, Arizona 3 Star (5.6)
Jace Sternberger TE 6'4 245 lbs. Miami, Oklahoma 3 Star (5.6)
And then he only has three Official Visits set up so far between now and National Signing Day all on January 19. The three Official Visits on January 19 are for:
Charles Strong RB 6'1 220 lbs. Gainesville, Florida 3 Star (5.7)
Jacob Copeland WR 6'1 188 lbs. Pensacola, Florida 4 Star (5.9)
Matt Alaimo TE 6'5 235 lbs. Montvale, New Jersey 3 Star (5.7)
Now maybe he'll do better the longer he is there where he has time to form relationships with recruits that are more local to Texas A&M. But it is possible that facilities while important don't mean as much as he thinks they do.
