Awesome we’re you in that small house on college back then?

I am an alumnus of the Delt chapter that was at UWF. We were awarded the responsibility of re-installing Delta Phi. I didn’t live in your chapter’s house, but I do remember the one that it occupied at that time was smaller and in a different location than the one you have now.

Incidentally, that weekend DP was initiated, FSU played LSU in Baton Rouge and won. Coach Bowden years later pointed to that game as the one that convinced him that he could play with the big boys and win if he stayed at FSU.

You've never been a part of an organization? A club or group of any sort? Even something like the beer mug club thing at Ken's?

I don't know anybody in a college fraternity that didn't have plenty of friends in other places as well.

You could argue that the money spent on fraternities isn't worth it. You could point out many of the negative things associated with fraternities. There is some validity to both of those things. But to say that people buy their friends there? Um, no.

Just one of those dumb phrases that people hear and repeat over and over. Makes them feel better about themselves in some way, I guess.

Clueless.... kinda like paying for college application fees, tuition and the freshman experience? Sound like a frat boy slayed your old lady and you feel bitter.
Hahahaha....you got me! My college tuition is an investment to my future, if a fraternity is an investment to your future then by all means I’m happy for you.

GDI all the way. Could never have some younger guy haze me or tell me what to do and have to pay to be treated like someones slave. I came in as junior from out of state where fraternities were for either the rich snobby guys or for guys looking to hook up with other guys. Most the guys I met at FSU that belonged to a fraternity thought they were better than everyone else and acted entitled.
