Oh yeah, the Electric Eye....god, almighty, what memories, good and bad that brings back. Also, Big Daddys....yikes. That SAE lion got painted 100 times while I was there. I think the original color was white...right? Which frat were you in?
I was a Sigep. You’re right, the lion was supposed to be white & was always being painted by someone.
Was it Ken’s that used to have Bud Longnecks for a nickel on Tues. nights?

I'm sure I knew him, but don't ask what I know.
He and his best friend Mike - also ATO - lived in the most disgusting apartment ever occupied by 2 humans, near the ATO house. How they graduated remains a mystery since they were out every night.
Nik Nik Shirts and Hai Karate. My sister and I still give them both more grief than the law allows. He was the head server at the DG House and also managed the kitchen for ATO.

What years was he at the DG house? Over the years at FSU, I served at the KAT, ADPi, & KD houses; I substituted at several sorority houses including the DG house! My senior year I was the head server at the KD house & kitchen mgr at the Sigep house. I’m sure I crossed paths with your bro...my name is Kevin too!

Ended up taking a road trip to the San Diego State game in 77 after nickel beer night at Ken’s. Didn’t sober up until we were in Texas. The trip home wasn’t fun!
Damn ...one long trip.

We took a trip to an Auburn game only to lose...great fans and a good trip....from what I remember.

Never forget our brother Blue.

As a graduate student long ago, I refereed the intramural flag football championship game between ATO (the fraternity champion) and the independent champion. On the last play of the game, with the independents ahead, the ATO's completed what looked like the game-winning forward pass on a leaping catch deep in the end zone. We had to call it incomplete because the receiver's foot came down on the end line. I thought for a few minutes that it was going to be the end of my life, too. But, luckily, in the nick of time, Don (Big Head) Powell, also an ATO, but a good friend of mine, was coming by, directly from practice, to see the end of the game, and immediately calmed all the waters. (Btw, my respect for Big Head was always off the chart, and I had a feeling at that time, that the ATO's had a similar feeling for their brother.)

A flag football almost marked the end of your life?

That was the era of the Pikes having weight equipment on their back porch and sitting out there impressing everyone with their ripped selves...I remember driving by there and getting an eyeful, I won't lie. :)
Met some Pikes from that era this season at tailgates and I must say my daughter and I had fun getting to know them.
Springtime in Tallahassee. Shirtless frat boys washing their cars. It was always a eye-opening drive through campus. :D

Founding Father of Pi Lambda Phi 94-98. We’ve since been kicked off campus but we had a pretty good run.

Wait, what makes you an expert in “most disgusting apartments”? Why didn’t you clean it up for him? :)

Oh, I've seen some disgusting apartments in Tally. We used to own quite a few properties near campus.
There were some interesting things growing in the refrigerator.

Clean anything dirty, and always serve from the side. Some good New Year’s Resolutions for you right there. :)

EJ and Darby were both Pike brothers. As was Bowden, Jimbo and Trickett. He and his son were initiated at the same time. In the early 80s, Kelly Lowrey, Scott Warren, David Ponder, Garth Jax, Brian McCrary, Bill Capece, Mike Rendina...all Pikes. All-American swimmers, basketball players, baseball players, too. We had more varsity players than all the other frats combined. Still do...

Spring game tailgate can't get here fast enough, champ. ;)

I’ll see if Wifey will make you a copy of the notes that have enabled her to be so happy and productive over the past many years. Every woman should read them, really, ideally while playing “Stand by Your Man” in the background. Divorce rate would plummet. :)

So folks who were in fraternities were losers? Oh ok.... I now know who will be the second to get knocked out at a frat party.

I’ve been a cage fighter since ‘09 and haven’t had a Carb is ‘07. Lol at “knocked out.”

Oooooh @ cage fighter.....

Hey bro, if that’s the kind of mac and cheese you want to bring into this shi* you best be making sure it’s extra cheesy. Yore type drop in the first 30 seconds of they even get as far as the ring.

Bro you don’t even know my type... and if you did, I’m absolutely positive this ain’t what you want.

Bro, I damn near killed the last guy I fought. If yore knees can handle yore body weight at awkward angles, step into my world playa.

^^this man speaks the truth^^

Dang, FSU isn't the same without Lambda Chi.
There thru '65. ZP 328. Our house was on Wildwood then. Really great--you could get totally blitzed at games and still make it home mainly on your own. Stand out on the deck and make fun of the underclassmen who still had ROTC drill at the stadium parking lot. Many, many friends for life...get together annually for away-game reunions.
