FSU sports information:

The No. 1 and unbeaten Florida State women's soccer team (11-0-1, 7-0-1) looks to continue one of the best seasons in school history as they travel to Durham, N.C., to take on Duke (6-5-3, 2-3-3) on Sunday afternoon at Koskinen Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and can be seen live on ACCNX.

Last Time Out
The Seminoles found themselves in uncharted territory on Thursday night as for just the second time this season, FSU trailed at the half against No. 18 Pitt. FSU used a fierce second half rally where they scored three goals in 12 minutes to defeat the Panthers 3-2 at the Seminole Soccer Complex. Lauren Flynn, Jordynn Dudley and Onyi Echegini all scored a goal for the Seminoles.

What's on the Line?
A lot is on the line for the Seminoles on Sunday as they are in the middle of one of their best regular seasons in school history. With a win on Sunday, FSU can clinch at least a share of the ACC Regular Season Championship. FSU can clinch the title outright with a win and a Clemson loss or a tie and a loss by Clemson. FSU will be looking to close out their regular season road slate unbeaten for just the fourth time in school history and for the first time since 2014. Cristina Roque can pick up her 50th career win in the goal with a win on Sunday. Roque would be just the third Seminole to achieve 50 career wins inside the goal.
Hello No. 1
For the 43rd week in school history, the Florida State soccer team is ranked No. 1 following the new United Soccer Coaches Poll on Tuesday. FSU is 47-9-5 all-time when ranked No. 1 and is 21-1-2 when they have been ranked No. 1 since the start of the 2021 season. FSU has never lost at home when they are ranked No. 1 posting a perfect 29-0-0 record.

A Star in the Making
Freshman forward Jordynn Dudley has put together one of the best freshman seasons in the country. Dudley has scored nine goals while adding five assists. Dudley had back-to-back two-goal matches against No. 1 North Carolina and Miami. Dudley is the only freshman to have three multi-goal games this season. Dudley is tied for fourth among freshmen for total goals scored this season and is tied for second in the ACC in total goals but is tied for first in the ACC with teammate Onyi Echegini in goals per game.

Dynamic Duo
The Seminoles have one of the top scoring duos not only in the ACC but also in the country with Jordynn Dudley and Onyi Echegini. Dudley and Echegini have each scored nine goals this season. That mark is tied for second in the ACC and is tied for 41st in the country, but the duo leads the conference in goals per game at 0.69 goals per game. FSU has not had two double-digit goal scorers since the 2014 season.

Spreading the Wealth
Florida State is the best team in the country in terms of spreading the ball around. FSU is ranked first in the country with 3.62 assists per game. Taylor Huff leads the team with eight assists which ranks third in the ACC and 18th in the country.

High Scoring Offense
FSU has one of the best offenses in the country, and for a program that is rich in history, this team has the making of becoming one of the best offenses in school history. FSU has scored 27 goals so far in ACC play and is on pace to break the school record of 30 goals in ACC play that was set in 2021.

Suffocating Defense
FSU has once again been one of the top defensive teams in the country. In its last five matches, the Seminoles have allowed three goals, two of which came against Pitt. Against Miami, the Seminoles did not allow a single shot. This was the first time the Seminoles have held an opponent to 0 shots since Sept. 8, 2019, against Samford. It was the eighth time the Seminoles have held an opponent to 0 shots and just the third time and first time since 2014 that FSU has held an ACC opponent to 0 shots.

Comeback Kids
FSU has trailed just three times this season and have made comebacks in each match to either win or tie the match. FSU has trailed twice at the half this season against Syracuse and No. 18 Pitt and came back to win 3-2 in both matches. FSU also fell behind against No. 1 UNC in the final minutes but got a last-second goal from Mimi Van Zanten to earn the draw.

Finishing Strong
The Seminoles have dominated teams in the final 25 minutes of the match. In the last 25 minutes of their games this season, FSU is outscoring opponents 19-4 with two of those goals being surrendered against No. 1 North Carolina.

Dominating the Second Half
The Seminoles have been unstoppable in the final 45 minutes of their first six matches. In the second half this season, FSU is outscoring their opponents 30-4 compared to just a 11-8 advantage in the first half. Under Head Coach Brian Pensky, the Seminoles have outscored their opponents 71-14 in the second half.

Road Warriors
Florida State is 6-0-1 on the road with two wins and a tie against top 10 teams on the road. FSU defeated No. 9 TCU, 2-0 and beat No. 8 Clemson, 4-2. FSU is unbeaten in their last eight road matches which is the fifth longest streak in school history. FSU has the chance to finish the regular season unbeaten on the road which would be just the fourth time the program has accomplished that feat and the first time since 2014.
