I just don't know. Every time we've asked Alameda about Reid, Lonni says that she really wants these ladies to be able to hold their kids and carry in a bag of groceries in 10 years. A tough thing if - if - we're discussing a chronic injury and her long-term outlook post-softball, too.

Very cool. Edenfield says postgame on ESPN that she and Jahni Kerr shared their experiences of the regional loss at home to Mississippi State a few years ago. How difficult that day was. It's the power of FSU's nine seniors sharing thoughts with younger players.

Thank goodness we didn't have a repeat against Auburn. Texas Tech is going to be tough next week with arguably the best pitcher in the country (why in the heck did she transfer there, I assume NIL money).
