This seems to be the prevailing narrative, that CWT is going with Francois to preserve Blackman’s RS. What I haven’t heard is a reasonable explanation of why RS Blackman is best for the short and long term future of FSU. I understand the depth argument sort of; which I guess would make Blackman the new SMag: guy who knows the system, always ready to come in the game, etc. But RS-ing Blackman doesn’t help us this year and he will likely battle Howell for the starting spot next year. I guess if Blackman loses out to Howell, Blackman has two years to play after a grad transfer, but again that doesn’t help FSU. I’m lost.
