Is fall your favorite season?

I'm a huge fan of fall for the following reasons:

1.) Football

2.) The orange leaves

3.) The weather

4.) Halloween

October may be my favorite month.

I live NEAR D.C., not in it.

The lack of hurricanes here even it out, IMHO.

I lived in N. Virginia for 5 years, the summers there are just as bad.

They're close but I think the sun in south Florida is much more intense.

At least that was my experience in Saint Pete in June, 2015.

Yep. That's what the locals called it, I thought? (Saint Petersburg)

I went a long time ago in June. It was brutally hot because of the sun.

The sun was much more intense than D.C.

It's just the opposite here in the panhandle. It becomes the Redneck Riviera starting on Memorial Day. After Labor Day, they leave and we can go to the restaurants again.
There are plenty of Snowbirds here but not nearly in the number of summer vacationers.

Upstate New York gets hot too, and the skeeters are just as bad there!

My mil used to complain about the heat but at least I had central air!!

They only had ceiling fans up there

I live in Tampa, here are my month power rankings:
1. October- weather finally cools off, football, Halloween festivities, still warm enough to take boat out
2. March- so many things going on in FL and weather is basically perfect
3. April- see above
4. November- similar to October
5. May
6. December- I’m not a huge Christmas person bc now it’s celebrated for 2 months but I still like it
7. September- start of football, slightly cooler
8. January- NFL playoffs, gasparilla, some nice cool days for fire pits, etc
9. June- my bday, Father’s Day
10. February- not much sports wise, usually nice weather but not really on the water
11. August- really hot but you can see the light at the end of the tunnel
12. July- basically no sports and hot as hell
