If you live in the North Florida Riviera then you know what I'm talking about. If not you're missing out.

Folks who aren't natives and have moved here in recent years are trading in their Cowboys, Giants, Packers, 49ers, Redskins, Bucs, Dolphins, etc. gear for the Teal & Black.

Quite honestly, I don't blame them. Everyone wants to be apart of America's team and taking down the NFL Death Star.

DTWD! DUUUUUUVAAALLLL!!!

So did most of the jort wearers in Duval until last week.

The meth, Busch Lite and jorts flow through the streets of Jacksonville tonight
Trivia time...
I remember J Ville as a kid being a Navy town with sulphur water. As I grew up, it became a banking, insurance, and medical center with good beaches close by.
Pops took me a a buddy to watch the Noles take on Paterno and Penn State in the Gator Bowl. What a blast we had.
Besides that, it has been the largest city geographically in the US ever since the city and county consolidated.

I'm one of the few who doesn't despise the Pats, Brady, Belechick, et. al. I just see them like Bama; they're just damn good, and always can figure out how to beat you.
Having said that, tomorrow I'll be a die hard bandwagoner for the Jags. It's just such a great story.

I love the Jags but the 'Duval' cheer is crap. If you don't live in Duval County its an insult. I can be a Jags fan but I'll never give a crap about Duval County.

Agree. If you live in St. John's or Clay or Nassau can you not be a fan?

The team is located in Jacksonville, FL which is Duval county (I'm sure you both are aware). I don't know a Jags fan who thinks you can't be a fan because you don't live in Duval county. That's ridiculous if you come across a fan that thinks otherwise.

I'll also agree the Duval chant is a bit ridiculous but so are a lot of sports related chants, like 2 bits 3 bits in the swamp, but it brings a fan base together.

Go Jags! DUUUUUVAAALLL!!!

Jags territory is more than Duval County. Fleming Island isn't really an island. Northeast Florida is full of geographic anomalies.

Fleming Island is closer to being an island than the Jags are to being an exclusive Duval County team. Maybe the Patriots had the right idea by changing their name to include the entire geographic region.

Ill be a bandwagon Jags fan today!

I have no problems with it at all.

*clap clap

What's flowing in Bucs and Dolphin territory tonight?

What's flowing in Bucs and Dolphins territory tonight?

Some silver polish for an NFC Championship Trophy and a Super Bowl Trophy in Tampa, and a lot more silver polish in Miami for five AFC Championship Trophys and Two Super Bowl Trophys.

Lots of work left to do in Duval before you get to those counts....but good luck today....over the unctuous Pats.

I've hated and absolutely despised the Duval chant. When I was coaching at Suwannee and we played Ribault in the playoffs it seemed like we heard it for 3 hours strait. We ended up winning in overtime but still hate that chant.

Damn, Bucs and Dolphins fans seem to be cut from the same cloth as Notre Dame fans. Phins last AFC title was 34 years ago.....

Sounds like those pieces are old and waaay overdue for polishing, right?

Jags played very well today. But beating New England at New England is extremely hard to do. All cards are stacked against the visitor. And, oh yeah, the Patriots are pretty damned good.

Jalen’s “guarantee” rang a little hollow. Live and learn.

Hell of a season!! Young team but when you get that far in the playoffs you hope you can cash in!

Go JAGS!!!

Ummm....seems to me we were called out earlier in this thread...so I'll always respond to a friendly call out. Is any NFL team and their fanbase proud of their history, either recent or distant....I think so...whether you're a Patriots fan or a Jets fan. Twenty eight teams since the merger in 1970 have won at least one Conference title except the Browns, the Texans, the Lions and dare I say....your Jags. So...in order to be proud of one or more Super Bowl titles...winning an AFC Championship seems like a good place to start. I know the predicted response...that the Jags have only been in existence since 1995 and the Texans in 2002....the Dolphins had five AFC titles and two Super Bowl titles in that same timeframe.

If we sound like the Golden Domers....I suppose I can counter with you all sounding like UCF fans...

Better luck next year...and in your race to distance yourself from the ignominious group of Lions, Texans and the Browns...

Go Noles....and in closing....I am very proud and continue to be of not only of our "recent" 2013 title...but the 1993 and 1999 titles as well...in spite of those occurring nearly 20 to 25 years ago...I'm sure you are as well.
