Totally agree. A passenger can claim anything...it is you against them. Uber didn't even ask him if he had a dash cam, BTW. They just wash their hands of it.

It's shocking to me that there adults out there who either don't understand this or can't accept it.

It is not that hard to figure out. Don't grab vaginas or really any other body part unless you're certain it'll be appreciated. How that isn't common sense is beyond me.

I don’t understand this logic. Why are you getting a kick out of the “groups eating their own”?. It’s what they should do. Police officers, teachers, politicians, athletes, actors, religious figures and so on should all eat their own when this stuff like this happens. It is what NEEDS to be done! Covering up because “they are one of ours” needs to be the type of mentality that should be snuffed out. This is not a left, right, sports or Hollywood problem. This is a societal problem. And If the so called “left” Is “eating their own” I say good!! They should be held up as an example for others to follow then.

So all of the sudden their mouthpieces in the media, and financial contributors are all of the sudden the exact thing they told those if us with different views were. While I think any type of sexual harassment, assault or whatever is wrong; IMO it is more wrong to play some champion for women and then be doing the same thing you accuse others of daily. Not at all. What I am saying is at least IMO if you preach to me about all these rights and then you are doing what you accuse all these other people of then that is a big issue. This is no different than the Catholic church . Where were all these people when this mattered. I don't care either way, I raise my kids to be powerful; I just find it pathetic that the people that play the identity politics game are all of the sudden making excuses for their friends. If you don't want to see it then fine; that is on you and maybe you should look at your own values.

The real conundrum that I have a problem with is the rights of the accused. There is a confusing and conflicting dynamic between false accusations and real allegations. Should the accused also be afforded the same protection as the accuser until investigated and proven? I think so, but there seems to be a stereotypical answer against this that I dont agree with and dont understand.

Sorry, not trying to be difficult but still don't understand the point.

Both are wrong. Obviously getting punched in the face is more damaging physically, but you could argue that getting grabbed in the crotch is more damaging emotionally, especially for females.
I can honestly say I've never once thought to grab someone's crotch, much less an Uber driver or other stranger.

I made a juvenile mistake of placing a jock strap/with cup over them. Pregame drills, humidity, cheerleaders in stands, batting, fielding, and more sweat... a swamp ass ball sack (w/ parts of peen) formed and tangled into a gizmo turning into gremlin. Got a knee to taint, bubble gum looking scrotum stretch that took a mid-inning dugout, full on pants down on the ground rearrainging. Had to be done, sorry.

To be clear I KNOW both sides do the preaching and long ago was full of disdain for those on the right who did the same thing and even more so for those who pretend to be some religious leader etc. My point is the left has never been held to account when they do the exact same thing and worse yet they tell guys like me that I need to act a certain way or I am pick your title.
What is even more maddening and should tell you how out of
touch DC is the money and plan they had to pay off accusers; whatever side you are on that should enrage you.
