Florida State has already clinched its weekend series vs. Miami. Now, the Seminoles go for the sweep and look to complete an undefeated rivalry week Saturday afternoon.
The No. 10 Seminoles (29-5, 9-5 in ACC) host the Hurricanes (16-18, 6-11) at 2 p.m. (ACC Network Extra) looking for their second sweep of ACC play this season and their second sweep of Miami in the last four seasons.
With a win, FSU would have swept Miami and Florida in the same season for the first time since 1960 and just the second time ever.
FSU will turn to junior lefty Carson Dorsey (2-2, 3.91 ERA) for his second straight weekend start. He allowed just one run on one hit last weekend at Boston College in his first career start. Miami will counter with lefty Herick Hernandez (2-3, 5.44 ERA).
